He grew up and continues to live in Poripori, a remote community along the upper Orinoco River.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His work explores the interconnectedness of all living things while highlighting the vulnerability of Indigenous cultures and knowledge. As he explained in 2023: \u201cEverything you can see is beautiful, but it\u2019s all at risk of disappearing, including my family, my community, the language we speak, and everything I know in the forest.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-curated by Gean Moreno, Director of ICA Miami\u2019s Art + Research Center, and Michela Alessandrini, Curator at the Fondation Cartier, the exhibition builds on the institutions\u2019 successful collaboration on Olga de Amaral\u2019s retrospective, first presented in Paris in 2024 before traveling to ICA Miami in 2025.
