Marseille-based&nbsp;artists&nbsp;Yohanne&nbsp;Lamoul\u00e8re&nbsp;and Geoffroy Mathieu&nbsp;worked&nbsp;in Atlanta,&nbsp;while&nbsp;Atlanta&nbsp;photographers&nbsp;Nydia Blas and Joshua Dudley Greer&nbsp;completed&nbsp;residencies&nbsp;in Marseille.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although&nbsp;Marseille and Atlanta have&nbsp;very&nbsp;different&nbsp;histories and&nbsp;geographies&nbsp;&#8211; Marseille&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;Mediterranean&nbsp;port city&nbsp;whose&nbsp;origins&nbsp;date back to&nbsp;ancient&nbsp;Greece,&nbsp;whereas&nbsp;Atlanta&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;landlocked&nbsp;city&nbsp;founded&nbsp;in 1837 as a&nbsp;railroad&nbsp;terminus &#8211;&nbsp;both&nbsp;cities&nbsp;have been&nbsp;shaped&nbsp;by migration, cultural&nbsp;diversity, and&nbsp;strong&nbsp;local&nbsp;identities.&nbsp;Through&nbsp;photography,&nbsp;each&nbsp;artist&nbsp;explored&nbsp;these&nbsp;connections&nbsp;from&nbsp;a&nbsp;personal&nbsp;perspective,&nbsp;engaging&nbsp;directly&nbsp;with&nbsp;residents,&nbsp;neighborhoods, and&nbsp;everyday&nbsp;life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Atlanta,&nbsp;Yohanne&nbsp;Lamoul\u00e8re&nbsp;focused&nbsp;on high&nbsp;school&nbsp;marching&nbsp;bands,&nbsp;capturing&nbsp;their&nbsp;discipline, pride, and collective&nbsp;energy,&nbsp;while&nbsp;Geoffroy Mathieu&nbsp;explored&nbsp;the city on foot,&nbsp;documenting&nbsp;the&nbsp;human&nbsp;stories&nbsp;that&nbsp;emerge&nbsp;within&nbsp;a&nbsp;landscape&nbsp;largely&nbsp;designed&nbsp;for cars.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Marseille, Nydia Blas&nbsp;collaborated&nbsp;with&nbsp;teenagers&nbsp;working&nbsp;at La Friche la Belle de Mai to&nbsp;create&nbsp;intimate&nbsp;portraits&nbsp;reflecting&nbsp;the&nbsp;city&#8217;s&nbsp;multicultural&nbsp;character. Joshua Dudley Greer&nbsp;photographed&nbsp;Marseille\u2019s&nbsp;neighborhoods&nbsp;and&nbsp;rocky&nbsp;terrain, tracing&nbsp;subtle&nbsp;links&nbsp;between&nbsp;memory, place, and time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition offers a dialogue between two cities that, despite their differences, share&nbsp;common questions&nbsp;about identity, community, and urban life. Although&nbsp;Marseille and Atlanta have&nbsp;very&nbsp;different&nbsp;histories and&nbsp;geographies&nbsp;&#8211; Marseille&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;Mediterranean&nbsp;port city&nbsp;whose&nbsp;origins&nbsp;date back to&nbsp;ancient&nbsp;Greece,&nbsp;whereas&nbsp;Atlanta&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;landlocked&nbsp;city&nbsp;founded&nbsp;in 1837 as a&nbsp;railroad&nbsp;terminus &#8211;&nbsp;both&nbsp;cities&nbsp;have been&nbsp;shaped&nbsp;by migration, cultural&nbsp;diversity, and&nbsp;strong&nbsp;local&nbsp;identities.&nbsp;Through&nbsp;photography,&nbsp;each&nbsp;artist&nbsp;explored&nbsp;these&nbsp;connections&nbsp;from&nbsp;a&nbsp;personal&nbsp;perspective,&nbsp;engaging&nbsp;directly&nbsp;with&nbsp;residents,&nbsp;neighborhoods, and&nbsp;everyday&nbsp;life.&nbsp;
