Until one day, he sees a beautiful but detached model (Anouk Aim\u00e9e), and he begins to follow her. From Malibu Beach to Beverly Hills mansions to Santa Monica Boulevard&#8217;s cheap strip joints, Los Angeles is critically examined&#8230;<br>French New Wave director Jacques Demy reunites with French star Anouk Aim\u00e9e (their first pairing, 1961&#8217;s &#8216;Lola&#8217;) to direct his first film in America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Film in English.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The screening will be preceded by a special DJ set.
