In 1895, Ad\u00e8le leaves her Normandy farmhouse and heads to Paris in search of her long-lost mother, diving headlong into a city being transformed by artists such as Victor Hugo, Sarah Bernhardt, and Impressionist painters Monet and Renoir in the process. In 2024, four of her previously-unknown-to-each-other descendants\u2014neurotic executive C\u00e9line, genial beekeeper Guy, content creator Seb, and French teacher Abdel\u2014begin to excavate their ancestor&#8217;s life story through old letters, paintings, and photos as they assess the contents of that long-abandoned farmhouse on behalf of the rest of the family. This year, the festival returns with a fervor that reflects a collective love for films. The heart of the festival has always been driven by its attendees\u2019 vibrant energy, each of whom has a unique perspective and a shared passion for films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Security Rules<\/strong>: Each person attending the event must have a ticket registered in their name and a government-issued ID that matches the name on the reservation to enter the Embassy. No one will be admitted without a reservation and official ID. Due to strict security measures, please arrive on time, as<strong>\u00a0doors will open at 6:00PM<\/strong>. Please allow extra time for security screenings. There will be no on-site parking at the Embassy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Food and Water:<\/strong> No food or water is allowed in the embassy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parking:<\/strong> There is no on-site parking. Metered parking is available on Reservoir Road at $2.30\/hour (max 4h until 10pm).
