This year\u2019s lineup includes four French (co-)productions: <em>Once Upon My Mother<\/em>, <em>All I Had Was Nothingness<\/em>, <em>The Safe House<\/em>, and <em>Real Estate<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>French (co-)productions continue their journey toward the Oscars, led by Jafar Panahi, who is maintaining strong awards momentum with several nationwide screenings of <em>It Was Just an Accident<\/em>, alongside a special discussion hosted by the Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que Fran\u00e7aise, further cementing his status as one of this season\u2019s key contenders. French animation is also prominently represented, with <em>Arco<\/em>, Ugo Bienvenu\u2019s visually striking debut feature, alongside <em>Little Am\u00e9lie or the Character of Rain<\/em>, the acclaimed adaptation directed by Ma\u00eflys Vallade and Liane-Cho Han. Rounding out this strong slate, the powerful French co-production <em>The Voice of Hind Rajab<\/em>, directed by former Villa Albertine resident Kaouther Ben Hania, continues its theatrical run at Film Forum through January 14, offering New York audiences a deeply moving cinematic experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the Oscars, attention also turns to the Golden Globe Awards last January 11th, which has awarded several French coproductions : <em>The Secret Agent<\/em> and <em>Sentimental Value<\/em>.
