Jones<\/strong>&nbsp;received her PhD from the University of Maryland in 1996. A former museum fellow at the Mus\u00e9e national du ch\u00e2teau de Pau and the Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Orsay, Paris, she joined the curatorial staff of the National Gallery of Art in 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jones was a collaborator and catalogue co-author for the exhibition&nbsp;<em>Jean-Paul Laurens 1838\u20131921 peintre d&#8217;histoire<\/em>&nbsp;on view at the Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Orsay, and the Mus\u00e9e des Augustins, Toulouse (1997<em>\u2013<\/em>1998). She has served as curator and catalogue author for a number of exhibitions at the National Gallery of Art, including&nbsp;<em>Degas at the Races<\/em>&nbsp;(1998);&nbsp;<em>Edouard Vuillard<\/em>, which was organized by the National Gallery of Art, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Orsay\/R\u00e9union des mus\u00e9es nationaux, Paris, and the Royal Academy of Arts, London (2003\u20132004);&nbsp;<em>In the Forest of Fontainebleau: Painters and Photographers from Corot to Monet<\/em>, which was organized in association with the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2008);&nbsp;<em>From Impressionism to Modernism: The Chester Dale Collection<\/em>&nbsp;(2010\u20132011);&nbsp;<em>Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the National Gallery of Art<\/em>, an exhibition that traveled to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the National Arts Center, Tokyo, and the Municipal Museum of Art, Kyoto (2011); and&nbsp;<em>Degas\/Cassatt<\/em>&nbsp;(2014).
