Thanks to its annual curatorial exchange, EXPO CHICAGO remains one of the only art fairs in the country to have an initiative dedicated to funding global curatorial exchanges, which foster future collaborations between curators on a local, national and international level. This invitation-only program fosters critical dialogue about the Chicago and Midwest art scenes from an international perspective.<br>In partnership with Villa Albertine Chicago,&nbsp;<strong>this year\u2019s participant from France is:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>St\u00e9phanie Airaud,<\/strong> Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/musees.marseille.fr\/musee-dart-contemporain-mac\">Museum of Contemporary Art in Marseille<\/a><br>Graduated of the Ecole du Louvre, Paris Sorbonne University and the Institut national du patrimoine, St\u00e9phanie Airaud started at the Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Art moderne et contemporain in Strasbourg before heading the fine arts and contemporary art department of the Annecy Museum in 2002.&nbsp;&nbsp;She has notably curated projects co-created by Marie Preston, Nicolas Floc&#8217;h and Esther Ferrer. Giving a theoretical and reflective framework to these practices, mixing contemporary creation, mediation and institutional criticism.&nbsp;&nbsp;In 2022, St\u00e9phanie Airaud was appointed curator at the Galerie d&#8217;architecture moderne et contemporaine of the Cit\u00e9 de l&#8217;architecture et du patrimoine.
