This Fall marks the return of our Authors on Tour program, with the participation of acclaimed writers Santiago Amigorena<\/strong>, Thomas Schlesser<\/strong>, Miguel Bonnefoy<\/strong>, and Lola Lafon<\/strong>, among others. They will present their latest novels at major literary festivals and venues across the country\u2014including the Brooklyn Book Festival, Litquake, the Boston Book Festival, the Charleston Book Festival, and the Miami Book Fair\u2014alongside renowned American authors and journalists. Celebrating a New Literary Season<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Supporting the translation and circulation of French-language literature is central to Villa Albertine\u2019s mission. This Fall, we will host a series of professional events for those dedicated to bringing French books to American readers\u2014from publishers and booksellers to festival curators, critics, and translators.

A highlight will be our culminating afternoon of public discussions<\/strong> on September 19th<\/strong>, featuring distinguished figures from the literary world including Michael Reynolds <\/strong>(Europa Editions), Sarah McNally<\/strong> (McNally Jackson), Barbara Epler <\/strong>(New Directions), Jillian Kravatz <\/strong>(Archipelago), Edwin Frank<\/strong> (NYRB), as well as the author Nicole Krauss<\/strong> and the editor Adam Dalva.<\/strong> Together, we\u2019ll explore the evolving definition of French literature\u2014and what American readers might be looking for in French novels today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
