The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain\u00a0presents\u00a0a stunning retrospective of legendary Colombian artist Olga de Amaral<\/strong> at ICA Miami<\/strong>, following its acclaimed debut in Paris. Featuring over 50 works spanning six decades \u2014 including rare pieces never seen outside Colombia \u2014 the exhibition is a sweeping tribute to one of the most influential voices in contemporary art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amaral\u2019s mesmerizing sculptures blur the lines between textile, painting, and architecture. Using techniques like weaving, knotting, and braiding, she transforms fiber into bold, abstract forms that shimmer with gold leaf, natural dyes, and poetic geometry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Award-winning architect Lina Ghotmeh<\/strong> brings the exhibition to life with a visionary design \u2014 a “vertical forest” where Amaral\u2019s works seem to grow organically through the gallery space, mirroring the artist\u2019s deep connection to nature and memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
