In addition to professional meetings with the Joan Mitchell Center<\/a>, Rivers Institute for Contemporary Art & Thought<\/a>, <\/em>and A Studio in the Woods<\/a>, <\/em>B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Alliot will introduce the Cit\u00e9 internationale des Arts<\/a>‘ residency programs to the creative community of South Louisiana on Tuesday, March 11, at the Joan Mitchell Center. A panel discussion featuring New Orleans-based artists who have participated in national and international residencies will offer valuable insights for those interested in these opportunities. The event aims to present an overview of the application process, highlight the benefits of international residencies, and guide artists in accessing relevant information and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Indigo Building of the Joan Mitchell Center. It is free and opened to the public upon registration here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cit\u00e9 Internationale des Arts in Paris offers the biggest artistic residence in the world.
