Taking place at The Foundry, Cambridge\u2019s inclusive hub for creative exploration, this unique global three-day gathering will bring to light challenges facing artists, including the pressing need for diversity, political equity, climate, and social justice. It will also be a celebration of the arts\u2019 ability to provide joy, respite, and common ground for dialogue. This edition will feature programs designed to engage artists with other cultures and disciplines through a wide range of tools and means.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference will host major artistic figures and professionals, including B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Alliot<\/strong>, Head of the Cit\u00e9 internationale des arts since 2016. An assistant professor at Universit\u00e9 Paris-Diderot until 2002, B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Alliot has been the Director of the French Institute of Johannesburg, the cultural attach\u00e9e of the French Embassy in India, and Head of the Cultural Season Festival Programs at the Institut fran\u00e7ais in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since its inception in 1989, the artist collective TransCultural Exchange has worked directly with hundreds of artists, arts organizations, foundations, galleries, museums and cultural centers in 60 countries to produce over 350 art projects.
