Representing emerging trends across a variety of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and comics, the Albertine Translation Fund<\/a> helps cover publishing and translation costs for U.S. publishers of works translated from French to English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, the Albertine Translation Committee will announce the two winners of the 2024 Albertine Translation Prize, one in fiction and non-fiction, each receiving a $5,000 award for their translation work. The announcements will be followed by a round-table discussion, hosted by Ed Nawotka of Publishers Weekly, on the subject of current trends in French to English translation. The ceremony will end with a cocktail reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
