R\u00e9alis\u00e9e durant sa r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Atlanta au printemps 2025, la s\u00e9rie donne la parole \u00e0 des artistes, militants, universitaires et habitants qui r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissent aux questions d\u2019identit\u00e9, de race, de migration, d\u2019appartenance et d\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9s.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cr\u00e9\u00e9 dans le cadre de la r\u00e9sidence de Rachedi avec Villa Albertine, de f\u00e9vrier \u00e0 avril 2025, ce podcast m\u00eale r\u00e9cits personnels et observations sociales pour poser une question essentielle : pour qui le r\u00eave am\u00e9ricain a-t-il \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u, et qu\u2019en reste-t-il aujourd\u2019hui ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durant son enfance, l\u2019Am\u00e9rique repr\u00e9sentait un id\u00e9al, un symbole d\u2019espoir. En tant qu\u2019enfant de parents alg\u00e9riens, des figures comme Martin Luther King Jr., Michael Jordan et la culture hip-hop constituaient pour lui des mod\u00e8les inspirants. L\u2019Am\u00e9rique semblait \u00eatre un lieu o\u00f9 venir d\u2019ailleurs pouvait \u00eatre une force, o\u00f9 l\u2019ambition, le courage et l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e9taient r\u00e9compens\u00e9s, et o\u00f9 la diversit\u00e9 pouvait \u00eatre une source de fiert\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pourtant, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qu\u2019il a d\u00e9couverte en 2025 s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e plus complexe. Dans cette s\u00e9rie de podcasts, Rachedi partage le micro avec des Am\u00e9ricains dont les exp\u00e9riences sont souvent ignor\u00e9es. Leurs t\u00e9moignages, associ\u00e9s \u00e0 ses propres r\u00e9flexions, dressent un portrait lucide de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9ricaine contemporaine, encore marqu\u00e9e par l\u2019exclusion et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s.
