Overview\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with Villa Albertine&rsquo;s Communications team on the visual promotion of key\u00a0initiatives during the Fall 2026 semester. Projects\u00a0include the\u00a0Lafayette Fellowship,\u00a0Albertine Conversations, a series highlighting the\u00a05th anniversary of Villa Albertine&rsquo;s residency program, and special cultural events featuring renowned artists and creators such as\u00a0Thomas Jolly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through these projects, the intern will gain hands-on experience in cultural communications, visual storytelling, and event promotion while contributing to campaigns reaching audiences across the United States.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>II. Job Description\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of these communications campaigns, the intern will:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Graphic Design\u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adapt existing InDesign and Canva templates with\u00a0new content\u00a0for invitations, social media\u00a0posts,\u00a0flyers, banners, and other marketing materials\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create new simple templates in Canva, InDesign, PowerPoint, or Microsoft Word using established visual universes (fonts, colors, graphics)\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Content Creation\/Editing \u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Edit or create text, photos, or visuals used in branded materials\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coordination\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Liaise with colleagues to collect content notes and specifications \u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with external vendors (branding agencies, external designers)\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate the printing process from start to finish\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>III. Requirements \u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Professional experience working as a graphic designer or graphic design intern\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of Canva, InDesign, and Photoshop\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptional eye for aesthetics and visual sense\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent photo editing skills\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Art direction skills: capacity to pair written and visual content to make a statement or communicate a mood\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language:\u00a0\u00a0French (reading, speaking, writing): Intermediate\/Advanced; English (reading, speaking, writing): Bilingual\/Native speaker\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bonus: Strong knowledge of Instagram platform intricacies, new features, trends, and marketing tactics\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bonus: Strong copywriting skills\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bonus: Video editing experience for social media\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IV. Eligibility\u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This position is open to students enrolled full-time at American colleges and universities. Please note that we cannot accept candidates who have already graduated from university; high school students; or students who require a visa to work in the United States.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0Graphic Design\u00a0Intern will work a maximum 3\u00a0days\/week for a total of 20 hours\/week.\u202fA mutually convenient weekly schedule will be\u202fdetermined\u202fon the candidate\u2019s start date.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Intern must be based in or near New York City and available for frequent\u202fin-person meetings\u202fat 972 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that this is an unpaid position, but we are happy to work with the selected candidate to secure school credit.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>V.
