Les r\u00e9sidences d\u2019exploration de la Villa Albertine visent \u00e0 nourrir un projet de recherche \u00e0 travers une immersion sur le territoire am\u00e9ricain et, de ce fait, \u00e0 entrer dans un dialogue actif entre la France, les \u00c9tats-Unis et le continent Africain, \u00e0 m\u00eame d\u2019offrir de nouvelles perspectives sur la cr\u00e9ation africaine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Les 5 r\u00e9sidents participant \u00e0 la table ronde sont :\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Caroline Gueye\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>N\u00e9e au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal en 1986, Caroline Gueye est artiste visuelle et astrophysicienne. Entre arts et sciences, son projet de r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Houston vise \u00e0 \u00e9tudier le d\u00e9veloppement de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 dans la formation des astronautes, \u00e0 travers les neurosciences.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Jay Pather\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>N\u00e9 en Afrique du Sud en 1959, Jay Pather est chor\u00e9graphe, commissaire d&rsquo;exposition et metteur en sc\u00e8ne. Il m\u00e8nera des recherches \u00e0 New York pour la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une nouvelle \u0153uvre in situ sur les interactions entre les personnes dans l\u2019espace public et leur facult\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er du commun.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Bahia Bencheickh El Fegoun\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>N\u00e9e en Alg\u00e9rie en 1976, Bahia Bencheikh El Fegoun est g\u00e9ologue de formation et cin\u00e9aste depuis 2003. En r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 New York, elle s\u2019int\u00e9ressera aux sorci\u00e8res en tant que figures f\u00e9ministes, \u00e0 travers le mouvement Women\u2019s International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell (W.I.T.C.H.).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Judith Okonkwo\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nig\u00e9riane n\u00e9e en 1976, Judith Okonkwo est la fondatrice d\u2019Imisi 3D, laboratoire de cr\u00e9ation immersive (XR) \u00e0 Lagos et tente aujourd\u2019hui d\u2019encourager les cr\u00e9ateurs de technologies immersives d&rsquo;Afrique de se d\u00e9velopper. L\u2019acc\u00e8s aux technologies \u00e9mergentes et immersives (XR) en Afrique sera le sujet central de ses prochains \u00e9changes avec des entreprises de technologies, ONG et fondations am\u00e9ricaines, de la c\u00f4te Est et Ouest.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Missla Libsekal\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>N\u00e9e en \u00c9thiopie en 1975, Missla Libsekal est programmatrice, sc\u00e9nariste\/romanci\u00e8re et productrice d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements culturels ind\u00e9pendante bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Vancouver. Lors de sa r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Washington DC, elle m\u00e8nera des recherches sur la m\u00e9moire et les cultures des diasporas africaines en Am\u00e9rique \u00e0 travers l&rsquo;\u00e9tude de contes panafricains.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La conversation se d\u00e9roulera en anglais.
